About Me Kyle Inselman

Kyle Inselman, MA, MEd (he/him) • kyle@prideinyourpath.com

I have been a career coach since 2014, specializing in guidance for undergraduate college students and the LGBTQ+ community.

I’m passionate about the field of career development, continually sharpening my own skills and supporting the professional development of others who provide career services. I am proud to have served as the 2021-2022 President of the Collegiate Career Services Association of Colorado & Wyoming, as well as a past co-chair for the National Career Development Association’s Committee on Diversity Initiatives and Cultural Inclusion. In 2022, I received the Diversity Initiative Award from the Colorado Career Development Association.

In addition to running Pride in Your Path, LLC, I continue to work in higher education career services as a director and adjunct faculty at the University of Denver. Learn more about me at my website: kyleinselman.com

About Pride in Your Path, LLC

Pride in Your Path logo I founded Pride in Your Path, LLC, in 2021 to increase access to quality career guidance, particularly for LGBTQ+ young adults. Even with the immense progress made for LGBTQ+ rights in recent years, there are still significant barriers to full equality for the LGBTQ+ community and other underrepresented groups. Systemic changes can and will lead to further gains: from nondiscrimination policies to expanded workplace benefits, there are many improvements that can be made both in government and in organizations. But what do job seekers, students, and other individuals do to navigate this career landscape in the meantime?

I believe that with quality career guidance, individuals can discover the power they already have in their own career journeys. By learning the “why behind the what” of basic job search skills, by building a toolbox of self-care and resilience practices, and by hearing the stories of others who’ve been through similar journeys, I believe that everyone can gain confidence in themselves and in their career decisions.

I started Pride in Your Path, LLC, because of a calling to effect change on a larger scale than I could achieve through individual career coaching alone. The scaled offerings that I will be developing through Pride in Your Path, LLC, will range from educational videos and articles to downloadable toolkits to webinars, classes, and more. I can’t wait to see what I grow this endeavor into, and to share it with all of you.
